Pool or Open Water?
Which do you guys prefer? Do you like some aspects of one and some aspects of the other?
I think I like the fact that the pool is clear and I can see, but at the beach you can carry rocks and other stuff like that without having to worry about a stupid lifeguard or damaging the pool. The can run at the beach also. Well, pretty much there are no rules there that would prevent you from training. However, there are nature's dangers to worry about, but that's not something too harrowing I think. Except maybe sharks. And pirates.

I enjoy the pool because it's convenient, and clear. But I hate the chemicals the put in there. I like open water because I don't have to stop to turn around. I can keep cruising. It's really nice when I get into that zone. I can also put my air-cooled anti-pirate machine gun on a dingy and tow it for extra drag, and protection. But I can only use open water part of the year in most places, you also have the inherent hazard of boats, jetskis and kids who throw rocks . Where I live, open water doesn't exist.
