yeah I know at selection day my pt scores were down a bit- chalk it up to nervousness, you know? anyway that's great man, just make sure you let that ankle heal!

I passed!

8:07 500m swim
10:15 1 1/2 mile run (my ankles jacked up again)
60 pushups
47 situps
10 pullups

Really shocked at the crappy calisthenics!! I burned out badly!!! Not sure what happened, but the T.Sgt that conducted it had a lot of good pointers and I was 1 of 2 that passed, everyone else failed. The other guy went CCT. Apparently the T.Sgt will be coming to my home town to do water confidence drills and pt with me, give more in depth tips etc.. I'm siked.

Ran a 1/2 mile today to see how my ankle would hold up on the treadmil, little bit of pressure but over felt good. Off to the pool to time my 500m swim without fins then untimed with fins we'll see how it holds up!

haha well tomorrow I think is a rest day- the Cadre announced they were simplifying the schedule to weekdays only starting this upcoming monday. same workouts, just spaced out more simply.

but you can probably try one of the ones we did earlier this week and see how you do!

Chris-im only 5'6" so push ups are easy peesy for me, and i didnt think about the barbell, and ya ill do that next time

James- thanks! im starting on the FF workouts tomorrow, scaled down of course, to see where i stand with them

well i mean..sit ups just take time. Push ups is where i struggle. I can pump out sets of 50 fine but being 6'6" definitely makes it a lot harder haha; it's a long way down and a long way back up. But sit ups i'll do all day. When you say by yourself, do you mean just not having someone to hold your legs? If that's what you mean-- i either just put my feet under a barbell or i use the sit up bench at my gym.

Sorry for the delayed response, my computer sucks.

Chris-my ankle's steadily getting better, I did tweak it this morning but should be okay for my PAST test Friday. My normal 500m swim is 8minutes, I did it this week with my ankle kinda dragging and swam it in 9minutes.

Nick-First of all, welcome!! As far as the situps man, just keep doing them, just like anything else. Keep up the training bud! Fatal Fitness/Fluid will get you in shape FAST!

i swam through middle school and high school, lettered every year, state championships 3/4 years lol, comes easy. I never ran lol, my legs are pretty much hating me everyday for torturing them ha.

But one question, im having a hard time doing sit ups by myself, any tips on getting the sit up number higher? pull ups are coming and push ups arent really an issue.

yeah man, if you're doing the workouts from Fatal Fitness AND Fatal Fluid every day, you WILL succeed.
